Obituary of Myron "Ron" Orchard
Webster: Peacefully, Friday, July 15, 2022, age 84. He leaves his wife, Kay; children, Scott (Robin) Orchard, Susan (John) Dobies and Shawn (Debbie) Orchard; grandchildren, Jessica (Austin Steffer) and Jonathan (fiancée Abbey Pikuet) Orchard, Shane (Elise Porreca), Jordan (Caroline) and Trevor (fiancée Erika Holland) Dobies; great-grandson, Thomas Michael Dobies.
Ron retired from Xerox after 38 years of service. He was a dedicated, 60-year member of Webster Volunteer Fire Department who served as secretary, president, on the board of directors, and on the fire police. He was involved in Boy Scout Troop 112, loved hunting, fishing, sports cars, and spending time with his family. Ron loved being in the stands to support his grandchildren in Canandaigua Swimming and Lacrosse, Wayne Football, Basketball and the many band and chorus concerts.
The family would like to thank everyone at Webster Comfort Care Home who so lovingly cared for Ron in his final days.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 26, at United Church of Christ, 570 Klem Rd., Webster. Private burial at the convenience of the family at Webster Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Webster Vol. Fire Dept., PO Box 361, Webster, NY 14580, or Webster Comfort Care Home, 700 Holt Rd., Webster, NY 14580.
