Obituary of Stephen R. Margeson, Sr.

        Stephen R Margeson, 71, of Webster, peacefully passed in his sleep at home on September 27th.

       Stephen was born on February 19, 1953 to Lewis and Gertrude Margeson of Phelps NY. He spent the last 17 years of his career employed as an Electrical Technician at Gorbel Inc. until his retirement in 2019.

        He enjoyed spending time with family in the mountains at the family camp, fishing, helping others and was proud of his extensive Budweiser stein collection that he loved to share. He loved researching and learning new things.  He dreamed of fly fishing in the Adirondack streams.

       He is predeceased by his wife Joan, brother Dwan, stepsons Kevin Peters and Micheal Pool. He is survived by his sons Donald Margeson (Heather), and Stephen Margeson Jr (Patricia); sisters Bonnie Crane (John) & Linda Daldry (Brian); stepchildren Robert Peters (Richard Huelsman), Pamela Peters (Earl Arquette), Scott Peters (Cheryl); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

       Friends may call at Willard H Scott Funeral Home in Webster, NY on October 25th at 2:00 – 3:00 PM; Memorial service immediately following at 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choosing.
