Obituary of Laurel Anne MacDowell

Webster: Entered everlasting peace February 22, 2017, age 77, after a long struggle with various health issues. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Roger; sister, Brenda; brother, Gary. Laurel leaves behind her loving children, Rhonda (John) Janssen, Jeffrey (Catherine) MacDowell, Mark (Maureen) MacDowell; grandchildren, David, Kimberly, Austin, Scott, Meghan, Charlene, Jacob and Samuel; siblings, Anita (John) Ward, Claudia Callahan, Sandra Chamberlain, David Traynor, John Traynor, Penny (Tom) Achille, Joseph (Alice) Traynor, Tim Traynor; numerous nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Laurel was a beautiful soul that cared deeply about others; helping family and friends where and when she could. She was a member of Naomi Circle as Queen of the Red Hat Society at Parkwood Heights. She loved keeping her mind sharp with word searches and competitive Scrabble and cherished family time. Friends may call 3-6 PM Sunday at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster where Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday. Interment Webster Union Cemetery.
