Obituary of Jordan V. Leavitt
Webster: Lost his fight with the disease of addiction on Tues., June 13, 2017 at age 32. Predeceased by grandparents, Richard Keith, Helen & Bernie Leavitt. He leaves mother, Robyn Whittaker; father, Bernie (Ruby) Leavitt, Jr.; brother, Harrison; step-brother, Clay Young; grandmother, Shirley (Bill) Eannetta; aunts & uncles, Rebecca Keith, Kim (T.J.) Bentley, Christopher Keith, Renee Gigliotti & John (Esther) Leavitt; 3 cousins; many special friends; his adorable dog, Rambo.
Hanging with friends, costume parties, working on cars, kung fu movies (yes, kung fu movies) and listening to music were some of Jordan’s favorite pastimes. His sense of humor was evident when he named his miniature dachshund chihauhau Rambo! Jordan nicknamed himself “Jumpman” and loved the fact his name gave him his own “brand”. He will always be remembered for his gentle spirit, compassion and service to others, and love of family, friends and life.
Friends are invited to his Memorial Service 2:00 PM Saturday, June 17th at Spiritus Christi Church, 121 Fitzhugh St. N, Rochester, NY 14614. Memorials to ROCovery Fitness, 1035 Dewey Ave., Rochester, NY 14613 or to Jennifer House c/o Spiritus Christi Church.
